Capitol Communications started over 40 years ago making films, videos, and slideshows for training workers in the Federal government. Over the years many more capabilities have been added. Video remains one of the most effective ways of training, orientation, and teaching staff. Whether to reinforce the basics, instruct in fine details, or motivate staff for excellence in a new program, a short video can cover a broad range of information while satisfying yearly training requirements.
A documentary-style video combines interviews with experts with location footage and source material presented by a narrator. Often, dramatic skits or vignettes are effective in demonstrating a principle; actors play out a scene which may be part of a larger story or an example for a training class to examine. Other videos are hosted presentations in which a capable guide leads us through the subject matter, in a studio or classroom environment, a human touch to make the concepts more real. Capitol can also produce training videos with footage at a conference meeting or all-day seminar, condensing the material in a useful package that can be seen by a wider audience. In all these formats, on screen text & graphics, animation, 3-d logos, and other elements are included when needed to convey the meaning in the best way.
Capitol can research, write,
and produce scripts for informational videos, as well as create graphics and animation, narration and hosting, provide on-location or studio camera footage, or make covers, booklets and other printed materials to accompany video-based training packages.
